I Just Wanna Change
I went to my grandpa's shop yesterday evening to see my grandma in the evening before my brother booked in. My grandma is forever hardworking despite being so sick! I wanna learn from her. I'm a BIG LAZY BUMP. TOO LAZY.
Apparently, I was told off by my aunt yesterday at the dinning table for giving my cousin a nick name and called her that during the Children camp. The nick name isn't those nasty nick names... It's just a yummy food's name. Eventually, I got admonished by the adults who were there as well. And of course, I rebutted. People called me even nastier nick names like "retard" yet I never get agitated. And their replied was "She's an 11 year old kid, can you be more sensitive?" Simultaneously, I received an sms from my uncle to give me a gentle reminder not to call her names. It was too sudden.
I stared at the floor lifelessly. Thoughts were running through my mind. "AM I SO CRUEL AND APATHETIC?", "CAN'T I BE MORE SENSITIVE TOWARDS OTHERS?"... However, there were also opposing thoughts. "SHE'S JUST BEING SO PETTY!", "FOR UMPTEEN TIMES, SHE HAS HURT ME SO BADLY WITH NASTIER WORDS. YOU HAVE FORGIVEN HER AND UTTERED NO EVIL WORDS. FOR ONCE, I GIVE HER NAME, I GOT TOLD OFF BY MANY." My heart was gutted with disappointment as I forgave my cousin all the time, but she this is what she did to me! There was once she ranted at me yet I got scolded by another uncle and I still kept quiet.
UNFAIR, UNFAIR and UNFAIR! The hurt was too intense that I could no longer endure it. I dashed into the room and buried myself in the pillow and wept. My grandma entered the room and found me crying. I quickly wiped off my tears as if nothing happened. "Why are you crying?", asked grandma. "Nothing grandma, don't worry." I replied. My grandma began to comfort me and told me about my grandpa's homeland. I promised to go there for a tour in future, after I come back from Taiwan. Hopefully. (: I love my grandma.
Have I really forgiven my cousin? Forgiving her is not only condone with her actions but letting go my anger as well! Am I exasperated? Well, I think I'm not now. Hope I'll not get angry when this scene re-enacted in future. Actually, I have a lovely cousin. She threw a surprise party for me on my birthday. Perhaps she's too lonely because she's the only child. It's time for me to bring her out and chill one day before I leave.
I wanna change. I don't wanna be self-centred!
Anyway, I'm so touched when I read Sylvia's and Yifen's entry. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine! I LOVE MY FELLOW DRENS!

I LOVE KIDS
I almost forgot that I need to wake up early today last night. I was happily online till 11.45pm and chatted with my dad to 12.30am...
My dad was so great. Although he slept much later than me but he woke up earlier just in case I overslept. Thank you daddy! (: I couldn't really get up. Well, I washed up, gobbled up my bread and rushed down to Yes Awareness. There is a camp today for the kids who are going to study in BWEP in Taiwan this August and I went to help up. I didn't know that I have become a teacher!!! Hahahahahahahaha. Well... The kids are sweet!!! I saw Qian Qi's shadow and Sheng Kai's shadow in them. The future of the world depends on them. And those little kids were like hugging me when there were breaks. So sweet!!!
I enjoyed teaching little kids!!! I went for dinner with Shu Ting, Li Ting and Amelia at Plaza Singapura and I chatted with them for so long and we went home. I'm too tired to elaborate my day. Well. I love all these people!!! I shall upload the pictures somedays later because I need to visit my grandpa tomorrow! =D
I'm sorry Mr Aiyo... I'm penitent to all the nasty words I had posted on my blog last year.

BACK TO NC
I went back to NCHS today. Initially, I only meet my shitstead. But most of the 4 Hybridians went back as well as other 07 graduates, from 4E and 4G! =D
I was supposed to meet my SHITSTEAD at compass point at 12nn. But I was 10 minutes late because I need to help my mum. They were eating at SKCC at then. She told me to wait for her for 10 minutes. I saw a lot of NCHS 07 graduate from NYJC. 10 minutes was up, but SHITSTEAD's nephew, Baby Junior didn't want to let her go! So shitstead brought him along and to meet me at compass point and went back to SKCC cafe and shitstead's mummy sent us to NCHS. MR TAY WAS OUTSIDE THE GENERAL OFFICE WHEN WE ARRIVED!!! WHEEE!!! SO HAPPY! Ms Tan was there too! We followed her up to the staff room to get some stuff and we saw Ms Neo and many other teachers! Then we walked around for awhile and saw our juniors! We went down to canteen and have our lunch. We saw Chun Leong, Bing Han MEI MEI, Ren Jie, Yi Long, Ming Fang and GERALDINE SWEETIE on our way down. We saw ELAINE JIE JIE downstairs. She had her Chinese oral today!!! Hope she scores distinction!!! Hahaha!!!
Yue'An, Poh Yih and Sir Arthur were there too!!! We had fun chatting! Cheng Liang also came back but he didn't join us. Syl was here and we were taking pictures with her laptop. I miss those days hanging around with 4H!!! I saw Mei Qi, Hui Ting, Stella, Min Min, Xue Yan and Hui Yu. (: Aaron is as childish as before. Sigh!!! I hanged around with 4H until 3.30pm and I went up to dance studio to see my juniors. I conducted the survey. The situation was quite messy and certain things were quite disappointing. ): I wanted to speak to Ms Tan actually, but her ex students wanted to speak to her badly too. And I walked to CP with LALA.
And and... I saw Mr Aiyo.

Stop holding on
I viewed one of my good friend's friendster profile. I shan't mention who. I realised he was attached. Well, that's not the matter. It was oblivious to me all along that he's attached and and... I messaged him. That's not the main problem. There was once he was dating with his girlfriend. I met him. I suspected that they were together but both of them gave me an innocent look. The girl even gave me her seat and I spoke to him for so long. Ah!!! SORRY! I didn't mean to interfere their affair. HAHAHA. But anyway, I was quite shocked.
Well, here's another affair! I felt a blustery wind blowing into my heart. I was quite flustered with his actions actually. His silence was kind of horrible. Did I irritate him? Did I make him exasperated that he doesn't wish to entertain me? I made it obvious that I'M ACCEPTING PEACE. But why I took initiative for all these while but to no avail? I guess those endeavours were futile ones! Gloom and guilt gutted my heart actually because I was the one who started all these fuss and now both of us have to salvage the situation. SORRY SORRY SORRY! I think I've been too frivolous at times. I don't want to turn him into second "Aiyo". In the end, I might turn out showing my sacarsm again. ): I don't wanna be sarcastic! I writhed when the embarassing flashbacks re-acnacted in my head. Although I don't have to struggle to keep a rein on the pain assailing my heart, I want a peaceful ending. Everything was too abrupt to me. Seriously, I couldn't fathom why he chooses to ignore. Or maybe he's too busy to respond. Anyway, thank you very much for all these while. (:

I MISS SCHOOL!
People may be thinking that I'm crazy. Haha. Because JC students are having Mid-year or Common Test and I could have the luxury of staying at home and rest. Hahahaha. I was caught BORED and SICKED and this was what happened. My candid shot was taken:
Crap. I look so retarded and fatigue in this picture. I'm too bored that I went to edit previous posts. I think those who are reading my entries through multiply couldn't see what I've edited.

Be filial (:
I found the following from my dad's email. Well, it's in traditional Chinese characters. So those whose computer can't the character's encoding, I'm so sorry!

Quotes, Quotes and Quotes! =D
"Speak a little or a lot, but tell me just the gist. The gist is what I want. What use is a lot of rhetoric?"
Realisation: The Senseless Cycle of Emotions
"Why get cyclically emotional over the cycle of emotions?" - stonepeace
There is a cheery new driver for the bus service I take. He greets almost every boarding passenger with a "Hello, good morning!" He also thanks alighting ones with an equally chirpy "Have a nice day!" At first, some frowned at his enthusiasm, which seemed unfounded - as if he shouldn't be so happy. Later, most got used to the "jolly good fellow", even smiling to reciprocate his courtesy. He was after all, just trying to share some joy.
Sometimes, for whatever reason, he doesn't greet some boarding passengers. When he encounters some who were previously greeted, who are then not greeted, they lose their previously ready smile, and frown at him instead - as if the driver was being rude by not greeting, as if he owed them a greeting. Yet sometimes, he greets them. Bewildered, the passengers get caught in a cycle of pleasure and displeasure, indifference and indignation!
The driver had no obligation to greet anyone even once in the first place. And the passengers had no obligation to be adversely affected by his greetings or the lack of them. The mind can be irrationally fickle, fluctuating swiftly and "mindlessly" between qualities of curiosity, surprise, irritation, gratitude, kindness, desire, anger... This can be as disturbing as it is exhausting! Come what may, why not just calmly smile the? - Shen Shi'an
"We have met the enemy, and he is us." - Pogo
"The worse of the two is he, who, when abused, retaliates. One who does not retaliate, wins a battle hard to win."
"Be willing to do [whatever should be done]. Be happy to bear [whatever should be borne]"
"Conquer the angry by love. Conquer the ill-natured by goodness. Conquer the miser with generosity. Conquer the liar with truth."
"You can only lose what you cling. You can never hold what you cling." - Anonone
"Repentance in thought, word and deed is to be sorry, to say sorry, and to show you are sorry." - stonepeace
"One who idles from day to day is a consumer of life. One who is active and useful is a creator of life."
Realisation: Being a Survivor of Survivor Guilt
May great strength, not great weakness, arise from great grief. - stonepeace
A mother is suffering from survivor guilt. She had sent her young daughter for a regular swimming lesson... not knowing it would be the last time. At first, she blamed the teacher for not taking care of her. But as the instructor explained, her rebellious daughter had strayed off secretly from the class to the deep end - out of playfulness. This led her to blame herself, for not having disciplined her well enough to listen to the teacher's instructions. Is this love?
She had forgotten her motivation of urging her child to sign up for the class in the first place. She felt that it was important to learn to swim from a young age - to prevent any possible mishap of accidental drowning. Wallowing in misery for her loss, she focuses on the bitter irony, though she should recall her pure intentions instead. She had expected the swimming lessons to discipline her, to curb her rebelliousness, while letting her play too. This is love.
What happened was an accident, that no one wished for - not the mother, instructor or the daughter. If there was anyone able to prevent it, he or she would. I have no words to console the mother, except for these - "If your daughter is still around, she would want to say sorry for her mischief. But more than that, it saddens her to see you grieve endlessly for her - for she wants you to be well and happy." This is love. – Shen Shi'an
"Rejecting loss rejects peace. Accepting loss accepts peace." - stonepeace
"True love not only sets others free, it sets you free too." - stonepeace

Good food
I was at home almost the entire day. School reopens tomorrow. I miss school, I miss my friends. If I have to go to school tomorrow, I'll be whining non-stop because I may not have finished my homework. I went to Punggol Park with my parents and my elder brother for our evening walk. This is the first time after 5 years.
I MISS THIS SCENE
The following article is taken from the Straits Time.
"MUSCLES DO NOT NEED MUCH PROTEIN: About 20g is enough for an 80kg man. And the protein, like that in these soya products, need not be consumed soon after exercising."
June 21, 2008
FITNESS
Real food is as good
Experts say 'recovery products' like energy bars are over-rated
NEW YORK - DR MARK Tarnopolsky, a muscle-physiology researcher at McMaster University in Canada and a physician, knows all about the exhortations by supplement makers and many nutritionists on what to eat and when to eat it for optimal performance.
The idea is that you are supposed to consume carbohydrates and proteins in a magical four-to-one ratio during endurance events like a long run or bike ride, and right after. The belief is that such nutritional diligence will improve your performance and speed your recovery.
Dr Tarnopolsky, a 45-year-old trail runner and adventure racer, might be expected to seize upon the nutritional advice. He won the Ontario trail running series in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
So might his colleague, Stuart Phillips, a 41-year-old associate professor of kinesiology at McMaster who played rugby for Canada's national team and now plays it for fun. He also runs, lifts weights and studies nutrition and performance.
In fact, neither researcher uses energy drinks or energy bars regularly. They just drink water, and eat real food. Dr Tarnopolsky drinks fruit juice; Dr Phillips eats fruit. And neither feels a need to ingest a special combination of protein and carbohydrates within a short window of time, a few hours after exercising.
There are grains of truth to the nutrition advice, they and other experts say. But, as so often happens in sport, those grains of truth have been expanded into dictums and have formed the basis for an entire industry in 'recovery' products.
Here is what is known about proteins, carbohydrates and performance.
During exercise, muscles stop the biochemical reactions used to maintain themselves, such as replacing and resynthesising the proteins needed for day-to-day activities. It is not that exercise is damaging your muscles; it is that the muscles halt the maintenance process until exercise is over.
To do this maintenance, muscles must make protein. And to do so, they need to absorb amino acids, the constituent parts of proteins, from the blood. Just after exercise, perhaps for a period no longer than a couple of hours, the protein-building processes of muscle cells are especially receptive to amino acids.
That means that if you consume protein, your muscles will use it to quickly replenish proteins that were not made during exercise.
But muscles do not need much protein, researchers say. Twenty grams is as much as an 80kg man's muscles can take. Women, who are smaller and have smaller muscles even compared to their body sizes, need even less.
Dr Phillips might have an energy bar during a long workout. But ordinarily, he does not worry about getting a special carbohydrate-to-protein mix or timing his nutrition when he exercises.
Instead, he said, he simply eats real food at regular meals.

YESTERDAY
I went to Yes Awareness yesterday. We were supposed to report at 4.15 PM but I was early. (: We need to do the setting up and preparation for Movie Appreciation in the evening. Yu Han was there already. Then came Jia Wei, Amelia, Yu Zhuang, Yong Liang, Zhi Hong, Yi Rui and Yi Xiang. We were blowing ballons while Yu Zhuang and Yi Xiang went to get the cusion! Jia Wei swept the floor and then we had our briefing. Li Ting, Shu Ting and Shi Ting (Jessica) [All the 3 Tings] were late and were questioned by Yu Han... Oooo... So scary. =X Yu Zhuang and I were assigned as emcee for the movie discussion. After that Yu Han and Yong Liang went down to settle our dinner, Amelia and Li Ting went to settle the drinks for the audience, Yi Rui, Shi Ting and Shu Ting went to settle the snack, and Yu Zhuang and I were guided by Sis Yi Mei on how to handle the entire discussion. Then came CHERYLC! Hahaha!!! And Qi Kang, Ai Leng and Qi Xu. I told them to arrange the cusions nicely.
Dinner was ready. I went to have my dinner. Stella and Nicholas arrived. Ahhh! I can't go and fetched them so Cherylc helped me. =D Thanks!!! That Qi Kang ah.... He played the dance music and make me feeling like dancing. Shu Ting and Li Ting said that they will feed me so that I can dance. Hahaha.
That moment was arrival of guest. Lala and Nic hadn't had their dinner. So they went to have their dinner. We screened the movie "Warm Spring" which I had watched and cried for umpteen times. But we turned up laughing on the touching scene whereby we were supposed to weep. Oh well... I think the feeling of watching with friends and family are different. After the show, it was the discussion. I led a group of 12 for the discussion to trigger them to think and bring the Observation of Merits and Appreciation of Kindness message to the audience. My group were good!!! =D All of them managed to share their thoughts and opinions. After that we did all the claps, dance and cheers. Then dismissal! We were busy cleaning up and clearing up the left over food. Then the committee had the debrief. Stella and Nicholas waited for me and we went home together.
I'm waiting for Yong Liang to send me the pictures. Arww... I failed to take the pictures of guys crying!!!
Anyway, I saw this lady who is so resplendent. I think she's heading for cosplay. But it's kind of gaudy and ostentatious that many were starring at her. =X An old man beside me even took out his camera openly to take her pictures:

I went for the Children Camp B&W Youth leaders' debrief today. We were so high during the debrief! We sang and dance! Woohoo!!! I didn't know that Qikang LOVES dancing. And Jia Wei... He swept the floor and dance. They guys were so funny. Didn't expect that they enjoyed! Well, I'm really glad that they enjoyed. They repeated the music and danced. We had pizza! Teacher Yu Cai treated us! Thank you so much. The Rite Pizza crust is nice!!! =D
Yawn. I'm so tired. Goodbye! Yay! I can't wait to take the candid shots of those guys who always take my unglam shots tomorrow. I'll standby my camera once they start tearing!

Rawr...
Firstly, I wanna comment on something. Luckily I had let go. =D If not I must be struggling to keep a rein on the pain assailing my heart!
Okay okay. Hmmm. I went back to JJ today. I chose today because I still owed Huai Ching his birthday card and the H2 Math students were having their common test today. But in the end, I turned up meeting some other friends because he had councillor meeting. Luckily I wasn't alone, if not he made me defeated the purpose of going back to JJ. I forced myself to wake up so early and I went to have breakfast with my dad and took his car to Toa Payoh. I took bus 157 all the way to JJ. It was a 54 minutes of boring journey. I was nausea during the journey. I reached JJ before 11am.
Well, I went to look for Ying Quan first to pass him letters. But he was out to get his lunch. Oh well, I sat in the canteen and Lihe came. She kept me company for awhile, then Ying Quan returned. I passed him the letters. Well... He spotted Sha Sha and I passed Sha Sha her letter personally. I hugged her so tightly. I missed her so much!!! Hmmm. Then I met Isabella to pass her letters as well as money. Then I saw Salina, Wan Ting, Amelia, etc. So happy to see them around. I was hugging Wan Ting so tightly too! I MISS HER SO MUCH! And Yue Yin!!! Grace kept me company for awhile. And I saw Chew Yew and Jerry. Haha. I waited for so long. I called Huai Ching for umpteen times but no avail. That's alright because I got to see my friends! I went back to my uncle's house at 12.50pm. I was on the phone with darling Qian Ting on my way back. I went to take my shoes and clothes and went to my grandpa's shop for lunch.
I went to Chinatown to meet another Amelia after lunch to pass her DVD. Wait... On my way there, I SAW LAMMY!!! Oh my! I was so happy! I haven't seen her for ages. Then I went back home and talks to Shitstead over the phone and I received SMS for Huai Ching that he would be coming over to Buangkok to look for me! Haha! He felt bad for making me going to school for nothing. I almost joked to him that he owes me another Sentosa trip!!!
I saw this poster on the bus 99 today. Please pay the correct fare!

ROAR. I still need to help up for PW. And why am I so wretched? Sigh I have no idea. Anyway, I love the following exerpt and quotes. =D
How Watching Anger Dissolves It I found out that because I spent so much of my life in a family where anger was never allowed to be shown - over thirty years of suppressing anger - suddenly I felt this almost continuous rage for abot two or three months. Where did that come from? Nobody was making me angry here. It wasn't the situation, so I couldn't blame it on the place or the people or anything.
I had some kind of intuitive sense to stay with it, and at first I tried to do a lot of intentional practice, really concentrating the mind to suppress the anger. But to do that for three months was impossible because I didn't have that strong a will. So I gave up trying to control it and just watched it, and then, through that, I began to understand.
Then one morning I woke up and it was all gone. There was no anger and I was in a state of bliss. Everything was beautiful and luminous, and there was no anger. Even trying to bring it back, I couldn't. Nothing seemed to be, nothing would catch hold, nothing would grab me. So that happened just through patience and a willingness to suffer [and awareness].

To live here and now, you must train yourself: In the seen, there will be just the seen. In the heard, just the heard. In the sensed, just the sensed. In the thought, just the thought. That is the end of sorrow.

WOW WOW
KHAI YIN, SI XIAN and STELLA, HERE ARE YOUR CANDID SHOTS!
I went down to NCHS today. =D I met Winnie and Jessie at Compass point around 9am and we walked to school. Winnie and Jessie wanted to collect their certificates. I HAVEN'T SEEN THEM FOR CENTURIES!!! Then we walked to school together... First time after we've graduated! I had fun with them. We proceeded to the General Office to collect the certificates and then we went up to dance studio. Ms Tan was there!!! =D I spoke to her for a while and we watched the juniors dance and took their candid shots and unglamourous poses! Haha! Lala came around 11.30am, I guess. We talked and played. After the training had ended, we discussed about dance jacket and dance camp! After the discussion, we went to compass point. Lala and I went to send Winnie and Jessie off first then went up to join the juniors for lunch. We were supposed to go back to school with the juniors, but my mum doesn't want me to go home late. Sorry DAUGHTERS!!! ): In the end lala and I looked around for jackets then lala sent me home. =D We chatted a lot! Haha.
Good bye!!! Enjoy those candid and unglamourous shots!
